Biography

Ts. Dr. Mohammad Adam Adman is a senior lecturer at the Department of Energy and Environment, Faculty of Civil Engineering Technology, UMPSA. He holds a PhD in Community Health from the National University of Malaysia (UKM), co-hosted at the United Nations University - International Institute for Global Health (UNU-IIGH), Kuala Lumpur. He started his academic career as a university lecturer in 2008. He previously held several university administration positions as the Director of the International Office; Deputy Director of the Center for Research and Industrial Linkages; and Coordinator for the Environmental Health Program at Universiti Selangor. Before joining academia, he was a former Government Official at the Hazardous Substances Division, Department of Environment, Malaysia (DOE) in 2004. His work interests are at the intersection of air pollution and its health effects, safety and health, and hazardous waste management. Additionally, he is a Visiting Lecturer at the Universitas Diponegoro, Indonesia (UNDIP) and a Guest Lecturer at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). He is also a Research Fellow of Pahang Ecology Research Center (PERC), UCYP University; an Affiliate Member of the Institute of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM); an Associate Member of the Institution of Geospatial & Remote Sensing Malaysia (IGRSM); a Member of the Clean Air Forum Society of Malaysia (MyCAS); the Malaysian Association of Environmental Health (MAEH); and the Malaysian Society for Occupational Safety & Health (MSOSH). He once participated as a Medical Volunteer in the 29th Southeast Asian Games 2017 (SEA Games) in Kuala Lumpur.

Current Progress
