Biography

Ahmad Huzaimi Abd Jamil is a senior lecturer within the Faculty of Industrial Management. His research interests are about investigating the various dimensions into Building Information Modelling BIM-based implementation, legal, and contractual challenges encountered by the various collaborators and contributors to the project procurement process. It also provides an immediate insight into the contractual issues, which could influence the effectiveness of BIM implementation, usage and collaboration within the project team. Huzaimi has more than 3 years teaching experience and had taught a wide range of students and subjects; postgraduate student, undergraduate and in foundation studies. He had joined training Program for Tutors/Teaching Fellowship Scheme (by Universiti Malaysia Pahang) which has equipped and enhanced his teaching skill and technique in the class. He has solid knowledge across many fields of interest namely; Electrical Engineering, Business Management, Technology Management and Construction Project Management. His involvement in research and development has been more than 6 years during his Master and PhD studies. Huzaimi also has gained an excellent achievement in scientific research by publishing Seven (7) scientific articles as a main author through a strong collaboration with peer researchers and corporate industries namely, Public Works Department (PWD/JKR). Furthermore, his research attachment experience in Canada assists to bridge the gap between the academic learning process and the practical reality. In addition, his professional communication was enhanced by an interaction with various expertise backgrounds in the university, involvement in project execution meeting and international conference participation.
