Biography

I am a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Computing at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA). I have a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Computer Science from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (Bioinformatics). My main areas of expertise include image processing, computer vision, machine learning, and data analytics. Throughout my career, I have gained a lot of experience teaching courses like Artificial Intelligence Techniques and Machine Learning Applications at UMPSA. I am passionate about improving education and take part in training programs and workshops, including national programs like MyDigital Educators @ MOHE. As an active researcher, I have led and worked on many projects, especially in image processing. I hold professional certifications like Huawei Certified Academy Instructor in 2022 and also was appointed as a facilitator for MyDIGITAL Educators@MOHE under Aspirasi Keluarga Malaysia (AKM) and the Bitara Strategic Planning Program by the Ministry of Higher Education (KPT) in 2022. My goal is to keep merging new technologies with effective teaching, impactful research, and meaningful community contributions to make a positive difference at UMPSA.
