Biography


Ts. Dr. Mohd Arfian Ismail, a distinguished Senior Lecturer at UMPSA's Faculty of Computing, possesses expertise in computer science, notably in machine learning and metaheuristic methods. Graduating with a B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. from UTM, his commitment to academic excellence defines his career. Focused on machine learning and metaheuristic intersections, he explores novel problem-solving techniques. Ts. Dr. Mohd Arfian's research, presented in esteemed publications and conferences, spans machine learning algorithms, metaheuristic optimization, and hybrid intelligence systems. His passion extends to teaching, mentoring future researchers, making him a significant contributor to UMPSA and the evolution of computer science. He epitomizes an accomplished academic driving innovation in machine learning and metaheuristic methods.

Beyond his research pursuits, Ts. Dr. Mohd Arfian actively contributes to the academic community at UMPSA. He enjoys teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students, sharing his knowledge and passion for computer science with the next generation of researchers and innovators.
