Biography


Dr. Nurul Ashykin Binti Abd Aziz holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Entrepreneurship) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (2020), a Master of Business Administration (Marketing) (2013), a Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) (Marketing) (2011), and a Diploma in Business Studies (2009) from Universiti Teknologi Mara. She is also a Certified Professional Marketer (CPM Asia) under the Asia Marketing Federation and holds a Certificate in Professional Digital Marketing from The Chartered Institute of Marketing, United Kingdom. In addition, she was awarded the Vice Chancellor's Award for her undergraduate degree, the Best Thesis Award, and the Graduate on Time (GOT) Award for her PhD studies.

She began her career as a Marketing Executive at Naza Premiera Sdn Bhd in 2011, later serving as a Procurement Executive at Lembaga Zakat Selangor (MAIS) in 2013, and as a Lecturer at Management and Science University (MSU) in 2014. She then served as a Lecturer and Senior Lecturer at Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK) for eight years, starting in 2014. She is actively involved with government agencies such as the Malaysian Franchise Association and has been appointed as an evaluation panelist for franchise industry awards. She has also worked as a consultant and coordinator for franchise research under the Ministry of Entrepreneur and Cooperatives Development. Additionally, she has experience leading research grants, producing academic publications, and has the capability to supervise postgraduate and undergraduate students. Her areas of expertise include entrepreneurship and marketing.
