Biography

Agi Augustine is a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Chemical and Process Engineering Technology, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-sultan Abdullah (UMPSA). He is also a research fellow at the Centre for Research in Advanced fluid flow and Process (Fluid Centre), UMPSA. He received his PhD degree in Petroleum Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in 2020. His area of expertise includes enhanced oil recovery, CO2 sequestration, hydrogen production and storage, carbon capture and storage, drilling fluid, reservoir characterization, oilwell cement, ultrasonication/ultrafiltration, polymer and nanoparticles synthesis. He is the principal investigator and co-investigator for more than ten funded projects in energy. He has authored and co-authored over 150 peer reviewed publications in high impact journals, two book chapters and more than 30 conference proceedings. He is the editor for Scientific Reports (Springer Nature). He is the section editor for Journal of Chemical Engineering and Industrial Biotechnology. He is also an active reviewer for more than 30 high impact journals. Agi belongs to the world's top 2% scientists, according to Elsevier and Stanford University, He is a Chartered Engineer, (CEng) by Engineering Council, UK. (EC, UK). Member of Institution of Engineering and Technology, MIET. (IET, UK) and a professional technologist by the Malaysia Board of Technologists.
