Biography
I was recently appointed as a Director at Centre of Instructional Resources & e-Learning (CIReL-UMP). In addition to this role, I am an Associate Professor at University Malaya Pahang, with more than 10 years’ experience as an academician at Faculty of Computing, UMP. My Ph.D. in Engineering was from Cardiff University, UK. Research area was in decision making for sustainability product design.
My personal strength is having the ability to work in a team. My role as Deputy Director enables me to hone in on developing my managerial skills. and having the proven ability to successfully work to tight schedules and deadlines. I hold various responsibilities in administrative and academician work.
Prior to my new role, I was the Head of Computer Science Program, fellow at Centre for Academic Innovation & Competitiveness (CAIC), project leader for obtaining research grants and member for the information system research group.
My area of research expertise are in knowledge management, integrated system, decision making, e-learning and sustainable engineering. I have published papers in high prestige international journals and conference proceedings.
Moreover, I have shown an excellent achievement in research competition by winning gold medals in research exhibitions locally and internationally. My research competition achievements include winning Gold medals in British Invention Show (BIS), Gold Medal in International Invention, Innovation Technology Exhibition (ITEX ) and Gold Medal in CITREX, Malaysia.
