Biography


Dr. Noraziah Ahmad is an academician at the Faculty of Civil Engineering Technology, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), Malaysia with expertise in Environmental Engineering, specializing in water & wastewater treatment, solid waste management, environmental management, and sustainable materials for environmental. She holds a PhD in Civil Engineering, MEng. (Civil-Environmental Management) and BEng. (Civil) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. Noraziah’s research has focused on nutrient recovery from waste streams—particularly the reuse of wastewater and solid waste to enhance soil fertility and boost plant growth. Additionally, she is investigating the potential role of magnetic field enhancement in optimizing waste-derived nutrient bioavailability and sustainable agricultural applications. This interdisciplinary approach bridges environmental engineering, resource recovery, and innovative agri-technologies to develop eco-friendly solutions for waste valorization and soil health improvement. Dr. Noraziah has also been involved in preparing Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) reports for related consultancy work for more than 5 years. She has about 4 years of tertiary teaching and research experience in academic institutions and publishes articles, conference proceedings, and edited books and is involved as a reviewer in selected high-impact journals in the environmental field.
