Biography
Ts. Dr. Azian Ibrahim is a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Industrial Management, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), specializing in sustainable supply chain management, low-carbon warehousing, and logistics. She combines her academic expertise with industry-focused teaching and research, making significant contributions to the field. She holds a Ph.D. in Business and Management with a specialization in Supply Chain and Logistics from UMPSA, along with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor’s degree in Transport and Logistics from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). Her qualifications are further bolstered by her certification as a Professional Technologist from the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT) and her membership in the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILTUK). Before transitioning to academia, she spent 11 years in the logistics and supply chain sector across various industries, including aerospace and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), where she held key roles in supply chain management. This extensive industry experience enables her to provide practical insights in both her teaching and research. With 18 years of combined experience in academia and industry, she is dedicated to advancing sustainable logistics and supply chain practices through her academic work, research publications, and industry partnerships.
