Biography


Currently, Nasrul Azuan Alang is a senior lecturer and researcher at Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, UMP. He joined UMP since 2007, after finished his first degree (with first class honour) in UTM. He obtained master degree on 2009 from UKM and PhD in Mechanical Engineering on 2018 from Imperial College London, UK. He is a Professional Technologies of Malaysia Board of Technologies (MBOT) and graduated member of Board of Engineer Malaysia (BEM). He has shown vast interest in Ductile, Creep and Fatigue failure. His current research has been directed towards developing of simple yet reliable predictive model/approach for predicting failure using fracture mechanics and continuum damage mechanics concept through advanced experimental testing and numerical modeling based Finite Element (FE).
