Biography
Nur Hidayah Binti Mat Yasin is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Chemical and Process Engineering Technology, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA). She obtained her first degree in Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2009. Then, she was doing her direct PhD and completed her doctorate degree in Chemical Engineering at Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2014. Her research interests cover the broad area of microalgae and bioprocess technology including a environmental, fermentation process and biodiesel. She was received Research Awards and Recognition in Publication; Sanggar Sanjung Award (2011-2013) and Cendikia Bitara Award (2021), and also in Exhibition; CITREX Exhibition (2015-2020).
Her career in academia started when she joined UMP in February 2014. Her teaching expertise includes Mass Transfer, Heat Transfer, Transport Processes and Engineering Mechanics. Having served almost ten years as a lecturer, Nur Hidayah has experienced several academic administrative positions at the FTKKP such as Coordinator of Student Exchange and Mobility Program (2014 - current), Coordinator for Internationalization in UMP and Advisor for Academic Visit for Outbound Program (Singapore, Japan, Turkey, India, Thailand, China, Philippine and Indonesia). She also received various achievement awards and academic recognition. Outside the university, she involves as Committee for Program of Intensive QGen (2015-2019), Program Director for Qgen 2018 and Program of Beach Cleaning 2019.
