Biography
Mohd Iszuani Mohd Hassan is a senior member of the teaching staff at the Department of Foreign Languages (DFL), Centre for Modern Languages & Human Sciences (CMLHS), Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) who specialises in teaching Japanese as a Foreign Language (JFL). He graduated from the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur with an honours bachelor's degree in Japanese Language. Prior to his undergraduate study, Iszuani had spent three years in Japan as a student. He is actively involved in research, development and commercialisation (R&D&C) activities in the areas related to the teaching and learning of JFL. Iszuani has also produced innovative teaching and learning aids and together with his research team members, developed applications for learners of JFL. Iszuani Inazuma-Jap is an example of a product which Iszuani and his research team members have produced to help students in Japanese oral test which is able to incorporate the use of biofeedback technology in measuring and minimising students' impediment and anxiety level.
