Biography

My broad research interests are in the areas of proteomics, a subset of the ‘Omics Technology’. My publications so far mainly related in utilizing proteomics technology in studying samples composed of protein such as snake venom, jellyfish toxin, bull semen, prawn haemolymph, mice or rat serums, plant extracts etc. The technologies involved either the bottom up type of proteomics i.etwo dimensional electrophoresis combined with mass spectrometry to characterize complex protein mixtures or the 2DE guided purification application to isolate useful protein. Some useful publications been derived from these works.

Herbal product development is another area of focus whereby the plant of Tongkat Ali been registered to National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA) of Ministry of Health, Malaysia. The products will be commercialized.
