Biography


I am a senior lecturer of Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University Malaysia Pahang. I obtained my bachelor degree in mechanical engineering in 2005, masters degree in mechanical-material engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2008, and PhD in corrosion and protection from The University of Manchester, UK. I have vast interest in the field of material science and engineering especially in metallurgical analysis, material characterization and corrosion and protection. I am one of the researcher under Structural Performance and Materials Engineering (SUPREME) focus group research in the faculty with current focus research on light alloys (Aluminium and Magnesium alloys) corrosion performance, smart coating and material failure analysis. I am a registered engineer with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM), chartered engineer of Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE), UK, professional technologist of Malaysian Board of Technology (MBOT), graduate member of Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3), UK, and certified in National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) for general corrosion (Reg. number : 639983)
