Biography
Mardhiyyah binti Zamani is a Language Teacher at Centre for Modern Languages, Universiti Malaysia Pahang. She started her first career as a teacher at Sekolah Menengah Islam Al-Irsyad, Kuantan in 2010. In November 2010, she continued her career by joining Universiti Malaysia Pahang as an Arabic Language Teacher and currently appointed as Arabic for Intermediate coordinator.
She obtained her first degree in Arabic Language and Literature (Hons) from Al- Azhar University, Alexandria, Egypt in 2004. She then continued her studies for Master Degree in Arabic Linguistic from Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin, Kuala Terengganu in 2015.
Besides her interest in Arabic studies, she also involved and was invited as speaker and motivator for teenagers, IPT students and in government sector or neighbourhood area.
In publication, she has published modules, Arabic for Beginners 1n 2013 with Rosjuliana Hidayu Rosli and Mohammad Baihaqi Hasni in 2013 and second edition in 2015 and published “ Muliamu Wanita Kerana Islam” in 2014 with Norzila Baharin. In research area, she secured RDU grant under UMP in 2013 and was awarded gold for the innovation of Kit Zikir in CITREX and Silver award in ITEX 2013 and currently lead a research in Arabic Language Teaching and Learning.
