Biography


Sharifah Maszura is a Senior Lecturer in the field of Structure & Materials. She has been working for more than six years in UMP teaching a number of subjects such as Engineering Drawing, Theory of Structures, Reinforced Concrete Design and Engineering Laboratory. Her field of expertise is in optimisation of structural design, innovative construction material, finite element simulation, seismic structural design, green material in building materials and lightweight aggregate concrete. She has won two gold medals, one silver and one bronze medal for the staff category in Creation, Innovation, Technology & Research Exposition (CITREx) 2018, held in UMP recently. One of her research projects, entitled "Hyfibers Concrete - Going Green" also won top 10 gold medal award and a special award, UMP Holding Sdn Bhd Invention Award.
