Biography
The author graduated with a first-class Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) in 2014. He began his career as a project engineer for the Terengganu Gas Terminal (TGAST) project and later became a lead engineer for the Package 14A project in Pengerang, Johor.
In 2017, he pursued a PhD at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), where he actively competed in research competitions, winning two Gold Medals at the International Festival of Innovation of Green Technology Competition and representing UTHM at the 3 Minute Thesis Competition at Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI).
Upon earning his PhD, he worked as a technical specialist at Hexagon before transitioning into academia. He also became a Professional Engineer (BEM) and Professional Technologist (MBOT). In 2020, he joined Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) as a senior lecturer, teaching Fluid Mechanics and Programming for Engineers while supervising postgraduate students. His research was funded by the FRGS grant (RM 98,020) and later by a UTMFR internal grant (RM 130,000) in 2024.
After four years at UTM, he is now a university lecturer at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), under the Faculty of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering in Pekan, Pahang.
Beyond academia, he is an avid sports enthusiast who enjoys volleyball, table tennis, tennis, and running.
