Dr. Mohammad Waffy Fazil is an academic and researcher specializing in IT Project Management, Project Management Methodologies, and Emerging Project Technologies. His research integrates both management and technological perspectives to enhance project performance, innovation, and strategic alignment in the digital era.

Dr. Waffy’s research expertise spans quantitative (PLS-SEM), qualitative, and mixed-method approaches, reflecting his strong methodological versatility in addressing complex management issues. He holds a PhD in Business and Management from Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), a Master of Project Management from the University of Queensland (UQ), Australia, and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Oil and Gas).

Before joining academia, Dr. Waffy gained valuable industry experience in the aerospace sector as an engineering consultant, where he was involved in high-precision technical projects that strengthened his practical understanding of complex project environments.

As a lecturer and researcher, Dr. Waffy has been actively involved in teaching, postgraduate supervision, and research on IT project success factors, agile methodologies, and technology-driven project environments. His professional contributions also extend to consultancy, training, and collaborative research initiatives that bridge the gap between academia and industry.
