Biography
Dr. Safie Abdullah is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering Technology, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA). He holds a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from Universiti Sains Malaysia, specializing in computational and experimental studies of hydrokinetic turbines. His expertise includes computational fluid dynamics (CFD), finite element analysis (FEA), aerodynamics, fluid-structure interaction (FSI), and composite materials. He is passionate about renewable energy research, focusing on wind, wave, and solar power systems through simulation and lab-scale testing. Dr. Safie is also involved in community-based projects that integrate IoT and smart farming technologies to support rural socio-economic development. He is dedicated to applied engineering solutions that contribute to sustainability and energy innovation.
