Biography
Dr Moin Quazi is a senior lecturer currently serving in Faculty of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering Technology at Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP). He is also serving the role of coordinator of international relations and CEO of the manufacturing technology group. Earlier, he was a post-Doctoral researcher at Joining, Welding and Laser processing Lab UMP. He graduated from NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi with a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering degree and has about 2 years of experience of working in Petrochemical sector and Cement industry. He completed his M.Eng. in manufacturing engineering from University of Malaya (UM), Malaysia with distinction. Dr M.M. Quazi has obtained the doctorate in the field of laser surface engineering from University of Malaya in 2017. He has more than 42 Scopus / web of science SCIE indexed publications. Dr M.M. Quazi also serves as a recognized and outstanding reviewer for well-known WOS based SCIE and SCOPUS based journals. He has joined as Life member of Pakistan Engineering Council and graduate member of Board of Engineers Malaysia and Malaysia Board of Technologists. He is currently serving as Editorial Board of "Materials Research Express" IOP Publishing.Â
