Biography


Dr. Musfirah binti Abdul Hadi is a senior lecturer within the Faculty of Engineering Technology, The Universiti Malaysia Pahang. Formerly, she had been working for 3 years as senior field engineer for one of international oil & gas company, Schlumberger WTA (M) Sdn. Bhd. and also for 6 months as a senior lecturer at Tunku Abdul Rahman University College.  Her primary research activities involve the area of manufacturing process (e.g., machining advanced materials) for aerospace and automotive parts, and also the area of nanolubrication for green technology. Dr. Musfirah has researched, presented, and published on the effect of cryogenic machining on Inconel 718 by using carbide cutting tool. She has been awarded with The Best Paper Award and Young Tribology Award during the Malaysia International Tribology Conferences 2013. She has been with the faculty since 2017.
