Biography
Dr. Nasrul Hadi Johari is a senior lecturer and a researcher at Faculty of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering Technology in Universiti Malaysia Pahang. He obtained his PhD in Mechanical Engineering (Biofluids Mechanics) from Imperial College London, United Kingdom. Prior to that, he completed his Master degree at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and bachelor at Universiti Malaysia Pahang. Nasrul started his engineering profession with Perodua Manufacturing Sdn Bhd as R&D engineer in 2008 before he pursuing to teaching and research field. His research interests include computational modelling of blood flow, tissue mechanics and mass transport in the cardiovascular system, with applications ranging from evaluating the hemodynamic performance of medical devices to predict the outcome of endovascular interventional procedures. He is also interested in computational and experimental modelling of the interaction between human and sports equipment particularly in improving training aid system and injury prevention. His current research also includes traffic accident prevention modelling.
