Biography
Ts. Dr. Nor Hanimah Hamidi is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Chemical and Process Engineering Technology at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA). She holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nottingham (UK) and an MSc in Advanced Chemical Engineering from the University of Birmingham (UK), following a B.Eng. (Hons) in Chemical Engineering from UMPSA. From 2009–2010, she was attached as a postgraduate researcher at the Manchester Institute of Biotechnology, University of Manchester (UK). Her research and teaching span extraction and refining, drilling fluids and mud systems, microwave-assisted processes, natural products, nanocomposites, wastewater treatment, and renewable energy & sustainable resources. Across these areas, Ts. Dr. Nor Hanimah focuses on translating laboratory insights into practical solutions for cleaner production and sustainable resource use.
