Biography

Wan Norfazilah Wan Ismail is a senior lecturer in Faculty of Industrial Sciences and Technology, Universiti Malaysia Pahang since 2015.With a background in Analytical Chemistry, her primary research activities involve the area of material science and protective fabric. Her research team always stay updated on the latest trends in modified materials with various functions not only to upgrade the properties of apparel, but also to ensure users' comfort. With the environmental concerns, they strive to provide alcohol-free system via simple and low cost method to produce coatings for protective fabrics. Clothing are human essentials and you need it as much as you need food. She also has experience as a laboratory manager and approved signatory back in 2014 to ensure all system procedures, work instruction, test methods, applicable standards, specifications and regulations related to the ISO 17025 scope of accreditation are current and available. She also has attended ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems (Understanding & Implementation) and Lead Auditor Course ISO 9001:2015 Exemplar Global Certified which help her to contribute in quality management system in UMP. With that experiences, she has been assigned as an auditor by UMP Advanced since 2019.
