Biography

Nurkarimah Yusof is a Senior Language Teacher at the Centre for Modern Languages, UMPSA. She earned both her master’s degree and undergraduate degree from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), specialising in English Language in 2014 and 2011, respectively. Currently, she holds the position of Course Coordinator for ULE2332 English for Technical Communication. Additionally, she has been the Assistant Editor of the International Journal of Language Education and Applied Linguistics (IJLEAL) since 2015 and is a co-author of the Preparatory Intensive English (PIE) Writing Module. Alongside her teaching responsibilities, she is actively involved in various research initiatives, focusing on topics such as teaching English as a Second Language, psycholinguistics, online learning, sociolinguistics, and artificial intelligence.
