Nur syafawati Sabuan is a Senior Language Teacher at Universiti Malaysia Pahang stationed at Centre for Modern Languages. Her area of expertise includes teaching language proficiency courses and coordinating language enrichment programmes for local and international students. She also has experience in training government and administrative officers for intermediate language courses. Other than that, she is also a certified ITBM translator and has experience in translating numerous documents. Her main research area entails classroom-based action research related to the English language and has also written for academic publications. Apart from her academic interests, she collaborates with internal and external shareholders for community service programmes. Her educational background and social engagement have provided many platforms to give back to communities, particularly in the teaching and learning field.
