Biography


Rahimah Jusoh @ Awang is a Senior Lecturer at the Centre for Mathematical Sciences, Universiti Malaysia Pahang.  She obtained her PhD in Mathematics from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2019. She received her bachelor’s degree (Industrial Mathematics) in 2007 from University of Technology Malaysia, UTM Skudai. She then furthered her studies in Master of Science (Mathematics) at the same university and graduated in 2009.  She has been appointed as a Mathematics lecturer in UMP since 2009 by teaching Applied Calculus, Ordinary Differential Equations, Engineering Mathematics, Basic Mathematics and Technical Mathematics. Her research interests are including the boundary layer flow, fluid dynamics and heat transfer of the Newtonian, non-Newtonian fluids and nanofluids. She also considers the impact of viscous dissipation, magnetohydrodynamics and thermal radiation in her research.
