Biography


Ramadhansyah Putra Jaya attained his BEng in Civil Engineering from Syiah Kuala University, an MScEng in Highway Engineering, and a PhD in Advanced Concrete Technology from the University of Science, Malaysia. He has garnered numerous accolades both domestically and internationally for his research endeavors. Noteworthy among these are the Best Engineering Student Thesis Award (2008), the Excellent Service Award (2018), and the Research Excellence Award (2019). He has also been recognized for his innovations, including High Early Strength Pervious Concrete, Waste Cooking Oil as a Bio Binder, Hybrid Binder for Self-Healing Asphalt, and the use of Waste Plastic in Asphalt to create Green Roads.
Furthermore, he has been honored with the Global Top Reviewers in Materials Science Award by the Web of Science in the United States. In 2020 he received the esteemed Howard Medal from the Institution of Civil Engineers in the United Kingdom for his publication on Nanomaterials. As of 2022, his name has been included in the roster of the world's top 2% scientists by Stanford University and Elsevier B.V. His prolific contributions comprise over 400 articles, proceedings, books, and chapters, with 330 articles indexed in Scopus, reflecting an h-index of 30, and 290 articles indexed by the Web of Science. Presently, he serves as an Academic Editor for several esteemed journals and holds an executive position on the Editorial Board, in addition to assuming Guest Editor roles for numerous Special Issues in high-impact journals.
