Biography

Dr Reeduan is a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Industrial Management, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah. He graduated from UMT, with an MSc. and a Ph.D. in management and attained his bachelor’s degree from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). He also holds an MBA from Cardiff Metropolitan University, UK.

He's a Chartered Accountant, CA(M), ASEAN CPA and fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (FCMA), Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), ACCA Certified Accounting Technician (CAT), and Diploma in Accounting from London Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI) - with additional certifications including Lean Six Sigma - IASSC Certified Black Belt.(ICBB), Certified Integrity Officer (CeIO), HRDF Certified Trainer, Digital Risk Manager (DRM) certification, and Lead Auditor Course ISO 9001:2015 QMS (Exemplar Global Certified).

He had over 20 years of industry experience prior to joining UMPSA, specializing in risk management, accounting & finance, internal audit & governance and, project services, with exposure in various industries such as oil & gas, plantations, property, construction, manufacturing, hospitality, logistics, and heavy industries, among others.

His primary research interests lie in the area of business management, including management accounting, lean accounting, lean auditing, enterprise risk management, and halal supply chain.
