Biography

Dr. Rohana Binti Hamzah was born on April 5, 1973 in Kampung Jaya Gading, Kuantan Pahang. Her educational background is in Technical and Vocational Education from Universiti Putra Malaysia for first degree. She also obtain her Masters degree in the same field from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2000. Then, she further her study at PhD level in Art and Design at Universiti Teknologi Mara and graduated in 2009.  Her experience as a lecturer at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia for 16 years and continue her service at Universiti Malaysia Pahang from 2016 until today have shape her research in interest in integrated education. She also do a lot of researach relate with instructional design, soft skills, creative thinking, problem solving and human development. She is also active in providing training and lectures to the community. Among the institutions that have received training from her were the Malaysian Prisons Department, Sultan Ahmad Shah University College Kuantan, Pagoh Polytechnic, Vocational colleges, primary and secondary schools around Kuantan and Johor, Raudatu Sakinah Progress Rehabilitation Center and Kementerian Luar Negeri. Among the programs that have been implemented are the Creative and Innovative using Holistic and Integration Approach in education, Parenting Courses, and Love of Science (STEM), Leadership Development of School Students, and adolescents in IPT and others. She also has also written several books including the Basic Human Development of Quality Education, Education For Future Leaders, Philosophy of Science and Ethic in Research and Spiritual Intelligence; Holistic Integration approach.
