Biography

ROSNANI ISMAIL is a language teacher at the Centre for Modern Languages, University Malaysia Pahang (UMP). She holds a Master of Arts (English Language Studies) and a degree in Bachelor of Arts (English Language Studies) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). She started her career in teaching since October 2010 at a private institution for 2 years and then decided to expand her career path at UMPSA in 2012. Throughout her service, she has taught various English language courses offered for both diploma and undergraduate students, i.e. UHL2432 English for Professional Communication, UHL2422 English for Technical Communication, UHL2412 English for Academic Communication, UHL2400 Fundamentals of English Language, UHL2442 Essential English, UHL1432 English for Occupational Communication, UHL1422 English for Academic Skills and UHL1412 Foundation English. She has also taken active roles in being a researcher and a co-author in several areas; for instance, vocabulary learning, e-learning, and web-based learning. She was awarded silvers and bronze medals for exhibitions organised in and out of UMP.
