Biography

Raihana Edros (PhD) has started her teaching career in 2013 at Universiti Malaysia Pahang upon completing her PhD Degree at University College Dublin in the area of Biopharmaceutical and Pharmacological Sciences. She has spend the first 4 years of her career developing a new undergraduate program known as Bachelor Degree of Manufacturing Engineering Technology (Pharmaceutical) with Honours. In 2015, she was appointed as the Program Head. As the Program Head, she had led the team on establishing curriculum and laboratories in order to obtain Full Accreditation by Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA) which was awarded in 2017.

Her research interests include the search of biomarkers that characterise high productivity in mammalian cells, the determination of active compounds from various natural resources including plant and plant by-products, the development of natural product formulation for various pharmacological effects.
