Biography
Ts. ChM. Dr. Shamsul bin Zakaria obtained Bachelor Science with honours majoring in Oleochemistry and Master Science in Chemistry from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). Then, he obtained his doctoral research degree (Phd) also in Chemistry from Danmark Tekniske Universitet (DTU). He is registered chemist from Malaysian Institute of Chemistry (IKM) and professional technologist from Malaysian Board of Technologist (MBOT). He also certified as professional trainer from Human Resource Development Corporation (HRDC). He has wide experiences in teaching undergraduate courses especially in Oleochemistry, Material Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Instrumentation Method and Inorganic Chemistry. He has more than 10 years of experience in R&D specifically in oleochemistry, chemical sensor, advanced material chemistry (dielectric elastomer) and polymer composite.
