Biography
Wan Isni Sofiah is a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Computer Systems & Software Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Pahang. Holding a PhD in Information Technology & Quantitative Sciences (UiTM Shah Alam), Master in Computer Science and Networking (UiTM Shah Alam), and first degree in Data Communication & Networking also from Universiti Teknologi Mara Shah Alam, Malaysia.

Field of research interest are Data Communication & Networking, Network Design & Algorithm, Wireless Sensor Network, Clustering, Network Security and Fuzzy Logic. Main research area is in Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) focusing on cluster head selection for energy efficiency using Fuzzy Logic. Current project are based on enhancement of single hop data transmission to multi-hop in two tier network, RSSI in wireless sensor and also on analysis of various types of fuzzy logic membership function to find the most effective membership in order to conserve the energy in WSN. Had contributed as a main author and co-author for the scientific articles in the field of interest.
